Obaa Yaa Afrifa Funeral Brochure

FROM PROJECT ABROAD With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Mrs. Afrifa, a cherished host mother, mentor, and pillar of the Projects Abroad family. For 32 years, she opened her home to volunteers from across the world, offering far more than accommodation. She created a space of warmth, order, respect, and belonging. Through her stories, she brought Ghana to life. Through her faith and guidance, she shaped values and perspectives. Her home was not just a place to stay, it was a place to grow. Volunteers consistently rated her “strongly agree” in our evaluations and reviews, a true reflection of her professionalism, excellent communication, and outstanding interpersonal skills. She set a standard that inspired both volunteers and staff. On a personal note, knowing her over the past four years was a privilege. She fondly called me Ampofoa, and will follow by Okyeman, a name that reflected both connection and affection. One lesson I carry from her is that friendship must not only be horizontal, but also vertical, an intersection of purpose, depth, and genuine care. Her impact goes beyond the many volunteers she hosted. She leaves behind values, relationships, and a legacy of excellence that will continue to influence all who had the privilege of knowing her. We will miss her deeply, her presence, her wisdom, and her unwavering commitment to people. Rest well, Mrs. Victoria Yaa Afrifa. Your legacy lives on. TRIBUTE W 49 A Loving Farewell 1934 MRS.
